Jody M. Goldstein

JODY M. GOLDSTEIN graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism in 1988. She obtained her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1995. Law was a second career for Jody, who worked as a newspaper reporter for 15 years (11 of them with the Houston Chronicle) before entering the legal profession. Jody spent three years as an adjunct professor of Media Law & Ethics at the University of Houston before joining the firm of Goldstein, Faucett & Prebeg as an associate in 2001. Jody's focus is patent litigation matters. Jody is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association. Jody is also an experienced photographer, and her experience in the arts allows her a unique perspective into the problems facing copyright owners in particular.
